2011—2020

The Decade of Action for Road Safety is a
global campaign to reduce the staggering one million
deaths and 50 million serious injuries experienced
world-wide on our roads every year.

A nation free of high risk roads.

During the Decade of Action, AusRAP aims to extend road assessments and subsequent implementation of road improvements to the whole of Australia's National Highway Network - an estimated 22,000kms (or about 25,000kms, including divided highways).

Together we can save millions of lives.

Take part in the Decade of Action for Road Safety by raising awareness of the importance of road safety in your community or work place, and by wearing the Road Safety Tag, the symbol of the movement.
